Good Morning, Evangeline Lilly.

I'm fascinated with CCM. It's more interesting than the ins and outs of the Norwegian crime scene.

Stand tall! Pray proud! (You need to respect ZOEgirl's commitment, even if God's sorta, you know, quaint.)

Iron Maiden's Somewhere in Time came out at the beginning of the school year in 1986. My pals and I spent the next four months locked uniform to uniform in an Eddie-drawing battle the likes of which Chicago's parochial school system had never, ever seen. Galloping riffs, Warbling throats, Sorcery, and battle mace exclamation points.

And in their darkest hour, ZOEgirl dreamed of BC Rich Warlocks and flash pots exploding in Midwestern arenas. Much like these kids:

"The verses of 'Rain' and 'Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr' blister the brain."

Run to the hills!
