Sting's orgasm just ended.

Iím tired of flipping burgers and frying fries. I finally got down and realized that to be a success takes determination; thatís why I spent last weekend at Intonation.

I canít wait for football season, because itíll be awesome when stadium sound effects guys start using that ugly, gut-bendingly scary HONK from War of the Worlds to signal the home teamís establishment of a first down. Watch out, visitors. HONK! ďOur tailback is a Tripod, bitches!Ē

Summer Movie Soundtrack Roundup, Jessica Simpson is a robot edition:

Dukes of Hazzard

Plus, the original series' soundtrack album has been reissued. Get ready for James Best [Roscoe P. Coltrane] singing "Flash," a tribute to his hound. There are TWO ballads devoted to the General Lee - one written and performed by Johnny Cash- and the hyperized Hollywood bluegrass used in every chase scene is here, too. Isn't it weird that Roscoe's last name is spelled like John Coltrane's? It's not like I was musing over Giant Steps as I sat under the coffee table every Friday night in 1981, waiting for my dad to finish watching "Chicago Week in Review" so we could switch the console TV over to CBS. But still, I always thought his name was spelled like "Coal Train." Yeep yeep yeep.

As long as we're on the subject, shouts to "Image Union." (Outta the side of your mouth:) "Hey, this is a pretty good blog, I think I'll read it next week..."

I've got that Dukes record on vinyl. "Flash" is the worst song ever. And as a kid, I always thought his name was Roscoe Peecoe Train.
