Brotherhood of Parsed Fists.

There's something nice and sweet and addictive about most of Natasha Bedingfield's debut album Unwritten. And as weird as it is at first, you sort of can't deny the video clip for "These Words," where Natasha hoards all the animated leg boom boxes in Brazil.

.............

I Gave You is more sullen hope from Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Matt Sweeney, bettter known as Superwolf. However, Bratz' Rock Angelz is something completely and totally different than that. It's "the hip to Barbie's square, Eliza Dushku to Kirsten Dunst in Bring it On, 'Girls With a Passion for Fashion' and a jeweled empire of merchandising for creator MGA Entertainment."

..............

Clutch's Pitchfork & Lost Needles is badass. "Everyone can revel in it, then share the surgical thread when it's time for sewing ears back on."

..............

Oneida's Wedding is their latest experimental/psyche/fractured rock opus; they're also touring with Kinski, which will be a great double bill. See you at the 2500 Club.

Remember LEN? Check it out: Diary of the Madmen.

..............

Safety Second, Body Last: "Don't worry about meaning. With The Locust it's all about feeling."

..............

DevilDriver's Fury of Our Maker's Hand might be the debut they didn't make their first time around.

..............

Dope's American Apathy is pretty insane, like music for meth housewives or maybe just angry, dreadlocked dudes with empty souls. It shares some of its rhetoric with this album.
