Arms like blades; move in motion - Robot classes offered.

I'm late to post this link, but here's the MT's roundup of Blowout weekend. I agree with Grambo - Blowout 2006 was an outright blast, a euphoric four days of rock, discovery, and Molson headaches that no one wanted to end. Here's to Blowout 2007.

Ann Arbor's Mason Proper have just released their debut record, and it's one of the only things I've heard this year that's really blown me away. These guys are young, and ideas seem to be falling out of their ears. But they have something to be sure. Get on the MP bus now. "Does Alison Goldfrapp dream of electric sheep? Because Supernature must be what it sounds like when androids become aware."

.......

"sometimes this feels like country as played by well-dressed English gentlemen like what you'd imagine Mark Knopfler listening to in his parlor...[but] whether harmonizing or singing individually, [Tres Chicas]' vocals on Bloom, Red & the Ordinary Girl are always comfier than a homemade blanket."

(Review of Sweetwater, Tres Chicas' 2004 debut.)
